Well July is fast approaching.  What does that mean for Wrimos the world over?  This year's second session of Camp NaNoWriMo.  Bring it!

Are you going to write this July?  Are you going to join in the mad rush of writing under the clock with countless other campers?  If so this weeks writing exercise may be to your liking.   This week lets make time to create an outline for our stories.  Let's solidify the order of events so we may traverse the pages of our novels without the fear of finding hungry bears because we wandered off the trail.

I will admit that I am very much a discovery writer.  Outlines have never been my strong suit.  This may be due to how they were taught in school though.  So I have some resources for all of us to look at.  Please feel welcome to add links in the comments or your own knowledge on outline writing.

First lets start off with the Camp NaNoWriMo website and one of their latest announcements talking about the event.

Next let's head over to Writing Excuses for some of their podcasts covering outlines.

The NaNoWriMo Forums are a great place to learn from other Wrimos.  Here is a thread on how different people do their outlining.  Here is another thread on how people plan or don't plan before their stories.

I hope you enjoy the links.  Best of luck in all your writing adventures.  Will you be participating in the July Camp NaNoWriMo session?  I'd love to hear what you're planning.
