It has been some time since I blogged regularly. I think I needed the break too. Life can get stressful and I had some fun this past weekend at Anime Maturi. I got new lolita pieces and some lovely art. I also feel refreshed with the exception that as an introvert I am a bit peopled out. I am enjoying some reading time and alone time this week. I am also taking my time with unpacking and putting things away, but I had run myself rather ragged. Here are some of the things that made me smile this week.
- Going to Anime Matsuri with friends.
- Exploring a new town. I've never had the chance to really explore Huston. I'd love to go back to just hang out and explore without worrying about a big event.
- Dancing at a ball
- Dressing up and pulling out all the stops.
- Getting to ask Minori for advice on shironuri art.
- Getting to have a home cooked dinner with people I love.
- Blackberry pie with scratch made wiped topping.
- Lamb burger.
- Grilled cheese with turkey and jalapeños.
- Seeing Card Captor items in the dealers room and artist alley. OMGs I love Card Captor. I almost bought a little Tomoyo figurine.
- So much lolita stuff! I loved seeing brand up close and personal.
- Finding a new dream dress. Putomayo switching velveteen dress in brown
- Finding new indie brands to love.
- Delicious Italian food.
- Snow peas and scallops.
- The best chia latte I have ever had. It was at CoCos Crepes & Coffee
- Dressing in shironuri. I love this as an art form. I want to do more.
