July is going to be a short month for me. Toward the end of the month my roommates and I will all be traveling to vacation in a magical world. Or rather we will be going to participate in a LARP that is essentially college for wizards. I’m really excited about that, but I have so much more to do before then. That also means that I need to stay on top of any work or goals I want to finish before then. Otherwise time is going to eat me alive. LOL That would be some interesting imagery though, wouldn’t it? So here are my goals for the month of July.
Study
I have had a great run so far with studying. I'd like to keep this up all the way until I go on vacation and then pick it up again when we get back. What will I be studying? Esperanto, astronomy, mathematics, and the violin.Write that Novel
I didn't fully make the habit I wanted to last month of writing six days a week. I did get closer to that habit though. And I certainly did get more excited about it. I made some good progress and I look forward to continuing that progress this month.I still have a list of tasks I want to finish. Maps, blueprints, character profiles. Things like that. I hope I can finish that list this month and make a new list of items that will get me further into the story.
Plenty of posts
Last month one of my goals was to write 15 post for the blog. I didn't quite make it there, yet I did write 14 posts. In that goal I think I did well. With this month being shorter for me than last month I have estimated that I should be able to do 10 posts. So that will be one of my goals.Magischola Prep
For vacation we will be going to Magischola. I am really excited about it. But there is so much left to do. I still have a lot of reading that I need to finish, though I have gone through quite a bit of it. And I need to talk with some of the other players who's characters will already know my character ahead of time. This is my first LARP. I'm excited, I'm scared, part of me still isn't sure that this is actually really happening. I'm going to try my best and have fun. That is a quick look at my goals for the month. I know there are plenty of other things I will be doing. But if at the end of the month I can look back and say, "yeah I achieved most of these." I think that will be a pretty awesome feeling.
How about you. What are your goals and plans in July? Are there anythings you are gonna try for the first time? New things can be a lot of fun.
