Progress on my 13 Autumn Goals



    Tomorrow is the first day of Winter.  So I'd like to take a moment to look back at my 13 autumn goals and talk about how I've been doing on them.

Decorate for Autumn 

     Not as much as I would have liked to but we did it and we had fun.   We being my roommates and I.   We bought some little gourds, a cornucopia, a cinnamon broom, and I made a little autumn themed  bouquet.   It was fun.

Things I Love Thursday: Bike Rides


    I am certainty feeling better after being sick much of last month.  I went on my first good bike ride Tuesday.  I even found a road that had a good stretch that went down hill.  Those can be exhilarating.  Also on that trip I stopped here and there to take pictures.  It was all over a lot of fun.  Good exercise too.  Which is a good way to pick up your mood.  Anyway today is Thursday.  You know what that means right?  Gratitude lists!

Polymer Creations For Sale

Things I Love Thursday: Rice Bags


    My emotions have been up and down this week.  But I have plenty I am happy for.  Some weeks ago one of my roommates made us all rice bags that we can heat up in the microwave and sooth sore muscles with.  Oh they hold the heat so well.

I Have Depression

    I've been seeing BuzzFeed's wonderful videos this week on mental health.  It really helps to hear other people talk about how they're going through things that I myself have to deal with.   For some time  I have wanted to talk about this subject and I've gotten some of it down, but it's a tough topic.   I have depression.  For as long as I can remember I have had depression even if in the beginning I didn't have a name for it.   Even if for a long time I did not have a name for it.  Depression makes everything harder.

Things I Love Thursday: Bullet Journaling


    I started bullet journaling in August.  It has been really helpful.  Especially since I lost my day job this past month.  It is helping me not only to remember what I need to get done, but it also serves as part of a routine.  If you are trying to find a way to organize your life, consider giving the bullet journal system a try.  There are lots of videos and tutorials out there.  And bonus, bullet journaling can be relatively inexpensive.  So first on my list this week? December Try-Its & Goals


    Alright folks it's a new month.   December is here and I am ready.   Every month I like to try and set a few goals or try-its which are things I want to try to do so they're less solid than goals  or maybe  less urgent.   But they are still things that I'd like to do.   So here are this month’s things to try.
